Supported Devices

You can configure WebCam Monitor to use any DirectShow® compatible video or audio device attached to your computer. The product is optimized for one or more attached cameras.

WebCam Monitor is capable of using devices attached to the USB or FireWire port of your computer for monitoring, as well as IP cameras. This includes these popular devices:

1. Web Cameras.
2. Digital Video Cameras.
3. Microphones attached to the sound card.
4. USB microphones.
5. Web Cameras with built-in Microphones.
6. IP or Network Cameras providing MJPEG or MP4S video streams.
