View Logged Changes
To view changes written to log files, switch to the Logged Applications tab in the Applications Uninstall mode. Use the drop-down list in the upper part of the tab to select a log file. Reg Organizer will load the file and display changes corresponding to the selected log file.
Registry and disk changes are displayed in tree-like form (the Registry key tree and the folder tree).
You can click the Expand All button located under the drop-down list to quickly expand all the nodes of both the Registry and the disk changes trees.
Use the Export the Selected Registry Key to a File... command of the context menu available on the Registry Changes page of the Logged Applications tab to save the selected Registry key to a reg file (.reg).
Note that it is not the current state of the key that is saved to the file but the one that is in the log file. For example, you can use this feature to save a key that has already been deleted from the Registry but remains in the installation log files of a reg file.
Sometimes the key being saved may consist of several reg files. For example, when you save a key containing changed values, each modified value will correspond to one reg file. That is why, when you select the Export the Selected Registry Key to a File... command, the program asks you to specify not a file name, but the folder where you want to save the reg files corresponding to the key.
Click the Remove from Log button to remove objects (Registry keys or files and folders) from log files. Note: These items will not be physically removed from your system, only from the log file. |
