Disk Cleanup Settings

To open the Disk Cleanup settings, switch to the main window of the program and select the Settings... item in the Commands submenu of the main menu. Then select the Disk Cleanup section in the settings window.

The most important settings are described below.

Ignore

You can use this group of settings to forbid Reg Organizer from checking shortcuts to files located on various kinds of media, for example, on CD-ROM.

By default, all settings are enabled in this group, so Reg Organizer will check only those files that are located on hard drives and will ignore all other shortcuts.

If you disable some of these settings, Reg Organizer may find more invalid files, but it is not guaranteed that such files will always be removed correctly.

How to remove files

You can tell Reg Organizer to delete unnecessary files permanently, move them to the Recycle Bin (default), or move them to a special user-defined folder.
