Registry Compare and Snapshot

In this section, you can compare your current registry entries with a snapshot taken before, to find what registry changes are made recently.

*This function is designed for the Pro version of Registry Help.

You can generate snapshot from Registry Browser section. By comparison, you can find the differences between the snapshot and the current registry. Thus, you will clearly see what changes happened on your operating system.

Comparison and restore

Select a date from the list on left, and click button "Start comparison" to start the comparison process. If there is no date listed here (by default), please first goto Registry Browser, and generate a snapshot on a selected registry branch, then the date the snapshot is generated will be listed here.

After comparison, the registry changes will be listed on the right list. You may select to restore the key to the old value in the snapshot. By take a snapshot on the root branch, you may select to rollback your whole registry to an old date.

Search in result

You can input a keyword in the search box and search for it in the comparison result.
