Preview Animation in Web Browser
You can view your animated GIF directly in your default Web browser to see how it looks on a web page with a specific background color.
To preview animation in Web browser
- Click the Preview in Browser button or on the Tools menu, click Preview in Web Browser.
- In the Preview in Web Browser dialog box select web page background color.
- Click OK.
Note
"My animation is not working when I add it to my web page. It works fine within the program, but when I add it to my web page it doesn't work."
There are several causes to this problem.
- Press refresh in your internet browser to make sure the animation hasn't stopped, or that you are not looking at an older image.
- Internet Explorer and Zone Alarm have options that disable animations. In IE, go to Tools | Internet Options | Advanced Tab and make sure the option "Play Animations in Web Pages" is checked.
- Make sure that you are looking at the correct image. You can accidentally name an image twice - once on the save tab (non-animated) and then once on the animation page.
- Products like Norton Internet Security can block ads. If you are using a product like this, make sure that the ad-block feature is disabled.
