Starting & Stopping
If you allowed it, the install program added GetRight to your Startup group so that it will automatically run when you start Windows. This configuration page lets you change if and when GetRight will start or stop.

- Start GetRight when Windows starts: If this item is checked, GetRight will be added to the Windows Startup group.
- Start GetRight when web browser starts: This requires that Click Monitoring of your web browser is turned on. If GetRight isn't running it will be started when your web browser visits the first web page. If GetRight has been closed, then this will also restart GetRight! If GetRight restarts constantly after you close it, or starts at other times when a web browser is not open; try turning this off. Some other programs can use the Internet Explorer web browser to display information, even if they aren't directly showing web sites. (Microsoft Developer Studio has been known to do this, other programs may too.)
- [Making GetRight close when you close your browser may be done in the future, but is not in this version of GetRight.]
- Show Splash window when GetRight Starts: You may turn off the window that shows while GetRight is loading. But you must be a registered user to do it.
- Close GetRight when all Web Browser windows are closed: This will close GetRight when all the web browser windows are gone. It tries to detect if you are still using GetRight (to not close) and so gives a couple minutes after the last window closes before it will close GetRight.
- Close GetRight when your Internet connection closes: Smarter opposite of "Start GetRight when web browser starts" if you're using Windows Dial Up Networking. This lets GetRight keep downloading until your connection closes. Both of these are smart, so won't close if GetRight is scheduled, is downloading, etc.
- "GetRight" shortcut under the Windows Start button menu: This allows you to add (or remove) a "GetRight" shortcut item from under the Windows Start button.
- "GetRight Dialer" shortcut under the Windows Start button menu: This allows you to add (or remove) a "GetRight Dialer" shortcut item from under the Windows Start button.
- "GetRight" shortcut on the Windows Desktop: This allows you to add (or remove) a "GetRight" shortcut item from the Windows Desktop.
- "GetRight Dialer" shortcut on the Windows Desktop: This allows you to add (or remove) a "GetRight Dialer" shortcut item from the Windows Desktop.
Language
GetRight is translated into many different languages. This lets you automatically download and install the patch file to translate all the text in GetRight into different languages.
The top list shows all the language files currently on your computer, and lets you click the button to visit the website of the language author (in case you find an error, or just want to say Thanks.)
The lower Download Language button will first find all the available translations and show them in a list. Picking any from the list will add the correct file to your download list, downloading that file will make it be added to the upper list of available languages. So converting to Spanish, Italian, etc is as easy as a couple clicks!
Subscriptions
You can choose to subscribe to channels about several different types of programs. When a new program is available for the channel, GetRight will show a notice with details, so you can choose whether to download the file or not. You will be notified about new files at most once a week for each channel. These will only be tools that we at GetRight use on our own computers and find useful, or games that we play.
