Working with Movies
ReportCD helps you to manage your movies collection. To Display the movies collection, select the view movies (menu Views | movies). By selecting a movie in the list, you can see its properties in the bottom panel.
Add a new movies in the collection
You have two differents manners to add a movies in the collection :
- Add a movies from a disk image that is already scanned : You can add a movies which is stored in a disk image. This is useful when you want to link your game with your disk information. In the Catalog view, select a file, a folder or a disk on which you want to perform the action. Then right-click and select Add as... | game and the game dialog opens (you can see that the path field & the title field are already filled). Fill all the other fields and click on Save to save the document.
- Add a movies without link to a disk image : Select the view movies and click on the menu Database | Add... | movies. The movies dialog opens. Fill all the fields and click on Save to save the document.
Search for movies
To search for movies, select the view movies (menu View | movies) and click on Search. The search window opens with the tab movies selected.
You can specify differents criteria and combine them :
- Title
- Version
- Style
- Language
- Year
- Contains a picture or not
Export movies collection
ReportCD can export movies in 2 formats :
- ASCII : to export the movies collection in a text file, with a tabular separator for columns.
- XML : To export the movies collection in a XML file, with an optional link with a stylesheet file (that can modified).
To export the movies collection, first select the view movies and then click on menu File | Export and select the format to use. |
