Create New Catalog
- This option will create a new empty catalog. Once the new catalog is created, you can add disk images to catalog by using the Scan command.
- Shortcut : Ctrl+N
Open catalog
- Opens exiting catalog from your hard disk or other media. You will be prompted to select your catalog file in a standard open-file dialog box.
- Shortcut : Ctrl+O
Save Catalog
- Saves currently selected catalog. This option is only enabled if current catalog has changed since when it was last saved.
- Shortcut : Ctrl+S
Save as...
- Saves currently selected catalog catalog as a new file.
Repair catalog
- This option will open a diagnostic window in order to check the consisty of the opened catalog. This tool will check if the current catalog contains corrompted disk images by scanning disk images one by one.
- First click on Check catalog to check if the catalog contains invalid disk images. Then, to rebuild a new catalog without corrupted disk images, click on Rebuild catalog.
Upgrade database
- This command will launch a data import tool, in order to migrate data from an old database of ReportCD 1.4.3. All data will be transferred into the new database (movies, games, software & MP3s collections), which structure is different.
ASCII Import
- This option will import in the current catalog the content of a disk image from a ASCII file.
- Note : This option is only available for the Catalog view.
XML Import
- This option will import the content of a disk image or of a disks collection from a XML file. ReportCD supports XML files generated by the tool WhereIsIt.
- Note : This option is only available for the Catalog view.
ASCII Export
- In the Catalog view, this option exports the selected disk image in a ASCII file. In the other views, exports the whole collection in a ASCII file.
XML Export
- In the Catalog view, this option exports the selected disk image in a XML file. In the other views, exports the whole collection in a XML file.
Exit Program
- Terminates the program. If the opened catalog was modified and not yet saved, you will be prompted to save changes before program is closed.
