Database Options

In this section, you can manage the database that is used to save data for all collections (movies, games, software, ...). This database is a MS-Access file.

In this window, you can check the size of the database file on the hard drive. You can also check free space available on the hard drive where is saved the database.

Compress database : this command will compact the database in order to reduce its size on the hard drive.

Note : Compressing the database can be long if the file's size is big.

Backup database : this command will do a backup of the database.

Restore a backup : this command will restore data from a backup file.

Note : Warning ! This command definitively remove data saved in the database in order to replace it by those stored in the backup file.

Suppression de données dans la base de données : cette section permet d'effacer totalement le contenu d'une collection dans la base de données.

N.B.: Attention ! Cette opération supprime définitivement les données dans la base de données.
