New Ad Setup

From the Main designer screen click on the Start button to begin a new ad design and the New Ad Setup screen will appear.

Click on the Color Wheel in the Background Color Section to select the Background Color. If you prefer you can use an image for the Background either enter the URL image address in the Background Image Box or click on the Yellow Folder Button at the end of the box to select a Image from a file stored on your computer and Select the Image from the Image Select Dialog box.

Select the font

Select the Font Style , Color , Size and Alignment in the Font section.

• Click on the Color Wheel to set the Color.
• Size options are 3 - 7 with 3 being the smallest and 7 the largest.
• Align options are Left Center or Right Justify.
• Styles are Plain , Bold, Italic, Underline, Bold, Bold Underline, Bold Italic, Bold Italic Underline.

A word about Fonts

The reason there is no option for different Fonts

Like images unless the person viewing the ad on the internet has the same fonts installed on their computer that you have in yours they will not be able to see them. The most common fonts that are used on the internet are Arial,Helvetica,Verdana,sans-serif because most computers have at least one of these fonts installed and they look the best.

You may see Web Sites that are using fancy different fonts but they are images not actual typed in fonts. You can verify this if you put your cursor over one of these fancy fonts and click your right mouse button and select the save image and save it to your computer and then look at it with a image editor. Bottom Line : If you want fancy Fonts use an image editor and make an image using the font of your choice and paste the image on your Ad.

Selecting the Border

• Select the border color by clicking on the color wheel in the Border Color section.
• Select the border width. Options are 0 - 8 with 0 being no border and 1 being the smallest and 8 the widest.

Adding Sound

You can ad a background sound file to your ad by entering the files URL address in the sound section or click on the yellow folder at the end of the sound file address box and select a file stored on you computer.

NOTE : Netscape ignores the background sound file so sound will only be heard by viewers using Internet Explorer.

After setting up the ad click APPLY and begin typing your ad.

You can change the font settings by clicking on the font button on the main screen.

After completing your ad design click finish and the html for you ad will be copied to the clipboard. You can paste the html in your auction by clicking the right mouse button and select paste.
