Run NetPhotoManager Server

This section describes the system requirements for running NetPhotoManager Server and explains how to install and run NetPhotoManager Server.

System requirements

  • Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows XP, or Windows .NET Server 2003.
  • Local area network, TCP/IP protocol

Installing NetPhotoManager Server

Install NetPhotoManager Server on a computer that acts as the Server Computer.

If you are using package with installer, run install.exe and follow the onscreen instructions.
If you are using package without installer, just copy the whole folder to your hard disk.

Running NetPhotoManager Server

If you have install NetPhotoManager Server with installer, you can run NetPhotoManager Server through windows start menu. If you installed NetPhotoManager Server by copying folder to your hard disk, run superlibServer.exe in the folder.

The main interface of NetPhotoManager Server is very simple, like the following figure:

Write down these IP addresses(except the loopback IP), we will use one of these IP addresses in NetPhotoManager Console or NetPhotoManager Client to connect to this Server Computer.
