Transfer Files and Folders
ConcordFTP is a secure and robust FTP client for transferring files and folders between PC and FTP servers. You can transfer files in Interactive mode with drag and drop support or in Silent mode for unattended, script-driven FTP file transfers. It offers many automation features, such as auto downloading only newer files, daily backup of your folders, or uploading or downloading files whenever they have been updated. It provides queuing support for transferring files. It is designed like a shopping cart. You can select files or folders for upload or download and place them in queue. When you are ready, you can start the transfer on demand in foreground, background, or at scheduled time.
Click to Download and Upload
Select files and folders from the Local Browser, click on the Upload icon on the Navigationbar or select the Transfer > Upload menu to upload. If no account has been selected, a dialog box that lists all available accounts is displayed for you to select the account.
Select files and folders from the FTP browser, click on the Download icon on the Navigationbar or select the Transfer > Download menu to download. The download folder location is dependent on the download folder settings in the Tools > Default Settings menu on the Transfer page.
Drag and Drop to Download and Upload
Select Account from the Account Panel in FTP Browser and connect to the server. Navigate to the FTP folder and local folder that you want to transfer files.
Drag local files and folder and drop on the FTP Panel to upload. You can also right drag items to the FTP panel for the pop-up menu. Select the menu item from the pop-up menu to start upload.
Drag files and folders from FTP Panel to the Local Browser to download. You can also right drag the items to the Local Browser for the pop-up menu. Select the menu item to start download.
Manual Upload and Download
Select Account from the Account Panel in FTP Browser and connect to the server. Navigate to the FTP folder and local folder that you want to transfer files.
Use the Transfer > Manual Transfer > Select Upload Files menu or the Select Upload Folders menu. An Open Files or Select Folder dialog is displayed for you to choose files or folders to upload to the current FTP folder.
Select current files and folders from FTP Panel. Select the Transfer > Manual Transfer > Download to menu. A Select Folder dialog is displayed for you to choose the target folder to download the selected files and folders.
Setup Queue
Select files and folders from the Local Browser, use the Queue > Add to Upload Queue menu to add items into the queue. If no account has been selected, a dialog box that lists all available accounts is displayed for you to select the account.
Select files and folders from the FTP browser, use the Queue > Add to Download Queue menu to add items into the queue. If there is no local folder setup for this account, the current local folder will be prompted for you to confirm.
Manage Accounts - Add Account
Click on the File > New Account menu, or click on the File > Account Manager menu to display the Account Manager dialog and click on the New button, to create a new account. Click on the Copy from button in Account Manager if you want to copy an existing account and edit the changes to create the new account instead of having to reenter all the information from scratch. |
