Merge Database
The glShopper merge function allows you to merge the contents of another database with this one. Merges are most frequently used to update the database when other copies of it exist on other systems, such as laptop computers or network drives.
To merge an existing glShoppper database, select the Merge option from the file menu.
Once selected a File Selection Box will be displayed:

A list of all the glShopper database files stored in your glShopper home directory will appear. Alternately, you can use the File Selection Box to search for glShopper database files in other directories or on other drives. NOTE: All glShopper database files will always end with a ".gdb" file extension.
After completion, the merge function will report the total number of new objects that were inserted and the number of objects that were updated. |
