Install Desktop Icons

You can create shortcuts to various glShopper databases by installing glShopper icons on your desktop. Perform the following steps to install a desktop icon:

Using the right button on your mouse right click in a blank area of the desktop.

Select New and Shortcut from the popup menu.

In the Create Shortcut dialog box copy and paste the following command line argument, assuming that the glShopper package has been installed in its default directory:

"C:\Program Files\glShopper\glshopw.exe" MyList

To specify a unique configuration file for each glShopper database, copy and paste the following command line argument:

"C:\Program Files\glShopper\glshopw.exe" MyList MyConfig

NOTE: Substitute your own names for the Mylist and MyConfig strings used in this example. If the glShopper distribution has been installed in another location you can use the Browse button to find the glshopw.exe file.

Click on the Next button to proceed:

Enter a name for this shortcut and click on the Finish button.
