Export Database

The glShopper export function allows you to export the database to a tab-delimited text file suitable for glShopper imports or other spreadsheet and database applications that will accept tab-delimited text files.

To export the database click on the tool bar icon or select the Export option from the file menu.

Once selected a File Selection Box will be displayed:

Enter the name of the text file you wish to create in the File name: box. NOTE: All glShopper export files will always end with a ".txt" file extension. You do not need to include the dot extension when exporting the database. The ".txt" file extension will automatically be assigned each time you export the database or the display list.

By default all new export files will be created in your glShopper home directory. You can change the directory path using the Look in: choice box.
