Create New Database

To create a new glShopper database click on the tool bar icon or select the New Database option from the file menu.

Once selected a File Selection Box will be displayed:

Enter the name of the file you wish to create in the File name: box. NOTE: All glShopper database files will always end with a ".gdb" file extension. You do not need to include the dot extension when creating a new database. The ".gbd" file extension will automatically be assigned each time you create a new file.

By default all new files will be created in your glShopper home directory. You can change the directory path using the Look in: choice box.

NOTE: A pointer to the last database file opened or created is retained and will be used to load the last database opened each time glShopper is launched.
