Synchronize First Location
With Titan Backup you can create synchronize operations between multiple files and folders on your system.

When you create a new Sync Task you need to define the base files and folders of this operation on your first location. This can be done in the First Location tab of the Sync Task wizard.
You can see what you have chosen under Selected Items list.
To add new items to the synchronize first location list click on the "Files/Folders" button and then select the items you want to include in the operation by marking the check boxes next to each item: 
The green check means that the item will be included in the operation.
You can remove any item from this list by selecting the item and then clicking the Remove button on the upper right corner.

At the bottom of the First Location tab there are two options:
The items are displayed in a tree view, that shows also the original structure of that item. The actual selected item will have a colored icon, and the entire path to it will be presented in gray icons ( a gray icon represents a sub-structure that will not be entirely saved, only the parts of it, that have a colored icon ).
Titan Backup offers you the possibility to filter the files and folders in your sync locations. A mask is a predefined list of file extensions that can be used as a reference in the files filtering process. You can apply an inclusion or exclusion mask to your files:

inclusion masks: when you apply an inclusion mask you choose to include in the synchronize operation only the file types that are defined in the mask.

exclusion masks: when you apply an exclusion mask you choose to synchronize all the files from the first location except the file types defined in the mask.
To apply a mask on the files defined on first location follow these steps:

From the First Location tab click Files/Folders button

From the Select files and folders window click on Files Mask button

Choose an inclusion or/and an exclusion mask to apply from the list of masks (click >> button to see this list): click Add button to add the mask to the list of applied masks (you can apply more then one mask at the same time), click Replace button to replace the current list of applied masks with the new selected mask
