Main Window

After launching the program, you will see the main program window displayed on the screen.

Main window consists of the following parts:

1. Main menu
2. Toolbar
3. Tracks list
4. Player
5. Tools panel
6. MPEG info panel
7. Status bar

Toolbar

The toolbar is used for quick access to the main functions of the program. It has some of the items located in the main menu.

Along with these functions it has the dropdown list in which you can select recent folders and buttons to switch between ID3v1 and ID3v2. When switching mode you have the opportunity to view tag information of the different formats without full re-scanning.

Tracks list

Tracks list is the main part of user interface. For performing almost all actions you need to check tracks firstly. Tracks list shows content of the selected folder with or without folders structure.

Player

Ultra Tag Editor has full-functional music player with all necessary features. It has the following contol buttons: 'Play', 'Stop', 'Previous' and 'Next'. To seek playing track you should click on the seeking bar, which shows elapsed track time or use shortcuts Alt+Left Arrow or Alt+Right Arrow. Built-in volume control enables to adjust volume. To set volume level you can click on the volume bar or use shortcuts Alt+Page Up or Alt+Page Down. Also player enables to mute volume (shortcut Ctrl+M).

Tools panel

Tools panel is a tab control with program tools. It has 'Tag Editor', 'File Renamer', 'Ultra Tagger' and 'Playlist Export' tools.

MPEG info panel

This panel contains information concerning current track. It shows file size, track time, MPEG version, channel mode, bitrate, sample rate, frames count, etc.

Status bar

Status bar shows total/selected tracks count, total/selected tracks length and total/selected tracks size. It can be useful for determination of tracks time before CD burning, creating playlists, etc.
