Tracks & Sets
Separate columns exist for Track, Total Tracks, Set, and Total Sets (refer to topic Column Order & Visibility to see how to expose or hide specific columns). The following discussion refers specifically to the behavior of the Track and Tracks columns, but it applies equally to the Set and Sets columns also.

By default, Track-type cells offer a "spin editor" when entered, which can be used to click to a particular number. Numbers can also be entered by hand. As with the drop-down lists presented in other types of cells, the presentation of spin editors in Track cells is optional and can be disabled in Preferences if desired.
Shown on the right in the image above is the Miscellaneous column, which has been configured to display a Track-Tracks combination view. This column is not directly editable but it can be configured to display Track-Tracks, Set-Sets, and many other types of tag field contents by running the Miscellaneous Editor: click the "ellipse button" that appears in any Miscellaneous column cell (or double-click one of these cells if double-click access has been enabled in Preferences).
It is possible to edit "Trks" numbers without the "Trks" column even being visible. Key a backslash character into a "Trk" cell and the current "Track/Tracks" values are retrieved from the tag and presented in the cell together, separated by a backslash character:

You can add, remove, or edit either value manually when they are shown in this way (the Track field on the Single Tag Editor also supports editing of Tracks numbers in this way). In addition, you can add or edit Tracks by pasting a number into one or more Track cells if you proceed the number with a backslash. The program takes the presence of a leading backslash in a Track number as a signal that the number that follows it is to be entered into the Tracks number column, rather than the Track column itself. Also, you can paste just a backslash alone into a Track column to remove the corresponding Tracks number.
Leading zero support and other options are provided in Preferences section "Tracks/Sets" for fine tuning track and set behavior in Tag Clinic.
