Speedbutton Toolbar

The Speedbutton Toolbar makes available for quick access many functions that are also available via Main Menu or popup menu. Most functions operate on all applicable files listed, if no rows are selected, or will operate just on selected files if one or more rows are highlighted in the Main Editor.
Run the MP3 ID3v1 Genre List Editor (<F7>).
Run the MP3 ID3v2/WMA/OGG/APE/FLAC/VQF/MPC/AAC Genre List Editor (<F8>).
Run the Artist List Editor (<Ctrl+F9>).
Run the Composer List Editor (<Ctrl+F10>).
Run the Conductor List Editor (<Ctrl+F11>).
Run the Orchestra List Editor (<Ctrl+F12>).
Run the Encoder Settings List Editor (<Ctrl+Alt+S>).
Run the Capitalization Editor (<F9>).
Run the Illegal Character Replacement Editor (<F10>).
Run the stand-alone OGG Editor (<F12>).
Create missing* ID3v2 tags from ID3v1 data in AAC, APE, FLAC, MP3, and/or MUSEPACK files (<Alt-F7>).
Fill in empty ID3v2 tag fields from ID3v1 tag datain AAC, APE, FLAC, MP3, and/or MUSEPACK files (<Alt+F8>).
Copy all ID3v1 tag data into corresponding ID3v2 fields in AAC, APE, FLAC, MP3, and/or MUSEPACK files (same as "V1 -> V2 Row" on Editor popup menu).
Create a relative-path playlist (<Ctrl+7>).
Create a absolute-path playlist (<Ctrl+7>).
Initiate a lookup on MusicBrainz if one or more rows selected, or expose the MusicBrainz lookup panel if no rows are selected (<Alt+M>). Function enabled on Windows XP and above only.
Search online for song lyrics and install in tag when found (<Alt+L>). Requires a valid artist and title.
Expose or hide internal player.
Play files in a WinAMP-style, playlist-supporting, associated player (same as "Play" on popup menu).
Enqueue all or selected files in a WinAMP-style, enqueue list-supporting, associated player (same as "Enqueue" on popup menu).
Show/hide the Thumbnail Panel image viewer (<Alt+T>).
Auto-number tracks in selected rows. Numbering will begin with the number in the first selected track, if one is present, otherwise it begins with "1."
Sort selected rows by their file creation date and time. Typically used to sort ripped CD songs by their disk order. This creates a sort order in which the auto-number track option above automatically installs the correct track number in respective tags.
Create missing* ID3v1 tags from ID3v2 data in AAC, APE, FLAC, MP3, and/or MUSEPACK files (<Alt+F5>).
Fill in empty ID3v1 tag fields from ID3v2 tag data in AAC, APE, FLAC, MP3, and/or MUSEPACK files (<Alt+F6>).
Copy all ID3v2 tag data into corresponding ID3v1 fields in AAC, APE, FLAC, MP3, and/or MUSEPACK files (same as "V2 -> V1 Row" on Editor popup menu).
Convert ID3v2.2 tags to ID3v2.3 tags (<Alt+F2>).
Convert ID3v2.3 tags to ID3v2.4 tags (<Alt+F3>).
Convert ID3v2.4 tags to ID3v2.3 tags (<Alt+F4>).
Convert ASCII text content to Unicode in ID3v2 tags (<Alt+4>).
Convert Unicode text content to ASCII in ID3v2 tags (<Alt+5>).
Remove tag (same as "Remove Tag" on popup menu).
Move tag data from the end of an M4A/MP4 to the front and rearranges tag field order for optimal streaming. This procedure is performed automatically after some tag alterations, such as after a picture or object is added or removed.
Load folder and tag data from Quickload Data File (<Alt+Q>).
Update Quickload Data File with current folder and tag data (<Alt+W>).
Create missing* Ape tags from ID3v1 tag data in AAC, APE, and/or MUSPACK files that have no APE tag (<Ctrl+Alt+A>).
Fill in empty Ape tag fields from ID3v1 tag data in AAC, APE, and/or MUSPACK files (<Ctrl+Alt+B>).
Create missing* Ape tags from ID3v2 data in AAC, APE, and/or MUSPACK files that have no APE tag (<Ctrl+Alt+D>).
Fill in empty Ape tag fields from ID3v2 tag data in AAC, APE, and/or MUSPACK files (<Ctrl+Alt+F>).
Convert v1.0 Ape file Monkey tags to v2.0 (<Ctrl+Alt+G>).
Convert v2.0 Ape file Monkey tags to v1.0 (<Ctrl+Alt+H>).
Find all occurrences of text or expression in tags in all listed files (<F5>).
Find text or expression in tags (<F3>).
Find next occurrence of text or expression in all listed files (<F4>).
Find occurrences of Text1 and replace them with Text2 in all listed files (<F6>).
Create missing* Flac tags from ID3v1 tag data in FLAC files (<Ctrl+Alt+J>).
Fill in empty Flac tag fields from ID3v1 tag data in FLAC files (<Ctrl+Alt+K>).
Create missing* Flac tags from ID3v2 data in FLAC files (<Ctrl+Alt+L>).
Fill in empty Flac tag fields from ID3v2 tag data in FLAC files (<Ctrl+Alt+M>).
Show playtime for all or selected files (same as "Playtime" on popup menu).
Compress tag data in all or selected files with ID3v2 tags v2.3 or above (<Alt+F1>).
Print listed or selected tags (<Ctrl+Alt+P>).
Adjust print settings (<Ctrl+L>).
Print-preview a tag list (<Ctrl+U>).
Save tag list to a CSV-format file (<Ctrl+1>).
Save tag list to a file in MS Word format (<Ctrl+2>).
Save tag list to an HTML-formatted file (<Ctrl+3>).
Save tag list to a text file (<Ctrl+4>).
Save tag list to a file in MS Excel format (<Ctrl+5>).
Save tag list to a v1.0 XML format file (<Ctrl+6>).
Use these scroll buttons to move the toolbar left or right to expose hidden buttons.
Removes the toolbar from the Editor. Restore it again with the "3" button on the Toolbar Toggle Pad, located on the Browser Toolbar (or go to Menu > View > Toolbars).
- "missing" in this context means that there is no tag in the file being edited, or all tag fields in the tag being edited are empty.
