Single-Field Popup Menu
Accessed by right-clicking the mouse anywhere on cell text in the Editor, functions on this menu operate on one tag field at a time. The lower, or "Tool," section can be made to reside on the main level as shown below, or placed on a submenu (see option "Place Single-Field Popup tools on ..." in Preferences).

Tag Clinic uses Windows' clipboard for all single-field Cut, Copy, and Paste operations. However, when performing these functions on tag frames that contain more than one data field, like Comments, User Text, MusicMatch Bio, Lyrics, URL, Picture, and Object columns, an internal clipboard is used that can include data from all supporting tag fields involved, such as "description," "language," etc. When a Cut or Copy is performed on one of these columns, the program defaults to using its own internal clipboard. Subsequent Paste operations will use this data when pasting into the same or similar column from which the data came from originally. If it came from an unlike column (or if the internal clipboard is empty) text in the Windows clipboard is used instead. Tag Clinic's internal clipboard can be manually cleared by executing a <Ctrl+C> (a "copy" shortcut sequence) while inside most single-field data cells, including empty cells. You can clear Windows' clipboard by executing a <Ctrl+K>, or both by executing <Ctrl+D>. You must be inside a data cell for these commands to be recognized.
Cut <Ctrl + X>: Move selected text or tag field contents into the Clipboard. Besides operating on text fields and whole tag frames, a "Cut" of Pictures or Encapsulated Objects can be performed with this command, even though there is no selectable text in these types of data cells. To cut Pictures or Objects, right-click the mouse on a column cell containing a number (which indicates their presence in the tag), then choose "Cut" from the popup menu to move the images or objects from the tag into the internal Clipboard.
Copy <Ctrl + C>: Copy selected text or tag field contents into the Clipboard. As with the "Cut" command, a "Copy" of Pictures or Encapsulated Objects can also be performed with this command, even though there is no selectable text in these types of data cells. To copy a Picture or Object, right-click the mouse on a cell containing a number (which indicates their presence in a tag), then choose "Copy" from the popup menu to copy all images or objects in the tag to the internal Clipboard.
Paste <Ctrl + V>: Paste text, tag frames, pictures, or objects from the Clipboard into a tag. When pasting plain text, if there is preexisting text highlighted in the field at the time of the Paste, the highlighted text is replaced by Window's Clipboard text. If no text is selected in the field, Window's Clipboard text is inserted at the location of the cursor. If all text in a cell is selected at the time of the paste, data may be pasted from either the internal clipboard or from Window's clipboard, depending upon the cell type and the current contents of the internal clipboard (see above).
Delete (Del): Remove text, whole tag frames, pictures, or objects from tag. When operating on tag fields in which multiple instances of the same type of field can exist, like Comments, UserText, Pictures, etc., "delete" removes only the first instance found in the tag. If a second frame of the same type is present, it takes the place of the first in the Editor's data view when the first is removed. In the Lyrics column, the first delete will remove only Unsynchronized Lyrics, while a second will remove the Synchronized Lyrics, if present. To remove ALL instances of these frame types from a tag at one time, select (highlight) the desired rows and use the "Delete" function on the Multi-Tag Popup Menu (see Multi-Tag Popup Menu below).
