People & Musician Credits Lists
Access: Click People/Musicians column cell button (Editor 2), or double-click the cell (depending upon Preferences setting)
The Involved People List and Musician Credits Lists store names of individuals involved in the creation or performance of audio content, and the functions or instruments of people during the process. These could be musicians, technicians, artists, photographers, or any other people involved.
Entries in the lists must always exist in Function-Name pairs (or Musician-Name pairs for the Musician Credits List), as shown in the Editor below:

To access either list, locate the "People" or "Musicians" column in the Main Editor and click on a cell in this column to expose the cell's "ellipse button."

Click the button to bring up the contents of the cell in a stand-alone editor (execution of this and other sub-editors may also be set to execute by double-clicking a cell, rather than by clicking a cell's ellipse button - see "Sub-Editor Access Method" in Preferences).
Click the Add Row button to add a new Function-Name or Instrument-Name pair to the end of the list, or the Delete Row button to remove the row that currently has focus. Use the Up/Down Arrow buttons to move a focused row up or down in the list.
Each "Function" or "Instrument" listed must have a corresponding entry in the "Name" column, and vice versa. Any that do not, along with empty rows, will be automatically removed.
Function-Name and Instrument-Name pairs are shown in the Editor as a single line of text with a forward slash ("\") separating each entry. You can edit the list directly in the Main Editor's People or Musicians column; however, the Editor enforces the Function-Name/Musician-Name pair relationship that must exist there. Data in a People or Musicians column cell can be cut, copied, pasted, or deleted just as in other cells in the Editor, but the text is checked for validity before the operation is allowed to proceed.
The Musician Credits List field is only supported in ID3v2.4 tags, in OGGs, and in M4A/MP4 tags. If you enter data into this column for an ID3v2.3 or other MP3 tag version, and "Tag Conversion" is checked in the "Confirmations & Warnings" section in Preferences, you will be asked for permission to upgrade the tag to ID3v2.4 before the data are committed to the tag. If "Tag Conversion" is not checked, the tag must be manually converted before data can be entered.
