Column Order and Visibility
Access: Menu > File > Column properties, <Ctrl+M>, Toolbar button
Use the Column Properties Panel to adjust which data columns are visible and in what order they appear in the Editor. Columns shown in blue have corresponding data fields in the iTunes library file. Those in black are supported only in file tags, or are file information fields.

Controls:
- The two sets of Plus/Minus buttons adjust the Height and Width of the panel. The number of columns produced by the panel is proportional to its width, while the number of items listed in each column is proportional to its height.
- Check or uncheck a particular listing to make the corresponding column visible or invisible in the Editor.
- After selecting a listing on the panel, click the Up/Down arrow keys to move its position left or right in the Editor.
- Enables/disables the list's horizontal scroll bar.
- Standard: Toggles standard columns on/off as a group: Title, Artist, Album, Comment, Year, Genre, Track.
- Misc: Toggles various columns on/off as a group: Miscellaneous through URLs, excluding Originals columns.
- Orig: Toggles "originals" columns on/off as a group: Original Artist, Original Album, Original Filename, Original Lyricist, and Original Year.
- MM: Toggles MusicMatch columns on/off as a group: MusicMatch Tempo through MusicMatch Arranger.
- Save: Saves current visibility and order properties for recall at a later time using the Load button described below.
- Load: Recalls a configuration previously backed up with the "Save" button described above.
- Defaults: Resets the selected Editor page to default column visibility, order, and width properties.
Column Popup Menu:
Columns can be hidden, swapped right or left, or have their width reset to a default value by using a context menu available via right-click on a header row cell, or by applying an associated shortcut sequence:

The Hide, Swap and Reset Width functions can also be initiated via shortcut keys.
- Hide: <Alt + Down Arrow>
- Swap right: <Alt + Rigth Arrow>
- Swap left: <Alt + Left Arrow>
- Reset width: <Alt + Up Arrow>
Before using a shortcut, set the column you want to operate on by clicking into one of its column cells (most non-editable columns can be set by right-clicking a cell).
Column Drag-and-Drop:
Most columns (and rows) in the Editor can be moved to another location via drag-and-drop: while holding the Control Key depressed, drag a column header cell button into another column to have the dragged column inserted there. In the image below, the Artist column is being dragged to the Title column position. If released there, the Title column will move to the right and the Artist column will take its place.
