STOPzilla Logo

Click the STOPzilla logo and then Open STOPzilla to access the Home console. Click Hide Toolbar to mask this toolbar if it is displayed, or click Hide Toolbar to reveal the toolbar if you previously masked (hid) it. Click Help to see the complete online Help system. If the STOPzilla toolbar is hidden, right-click inside he Internet Explorer menu bar and select STOPzilla to enable the toolbar.

Search Box

Click SECURE SEARCH to launch the Lycos search engine for high quality natural and sponsored search results. Click the down-arrow to the right of SECURE SEARCH to see your URL History, a list of sites that you have visited. As you begin to type in the Search field, the site addresses, beginning with the letters you type, will be displayed. By default, STOPzilla will save your search history to a maximum of 20 searches.

Click Clear Search History to erase traces of the sites you have visited. This is a privacy feature. Please see: Quick Tools.

Spyware Protection

Click the down-arrow to launch a scan for Spyware. Click the ON/OFF button to enable/disable Spyware protection. Disabling Spyware protection is not recommended.

Pop-up Protection

Click the down arrow to manage Pop-ups with the Black List . Click the ON/OFF button to enable/disable Pop-up protection. Disabling Pop-up protection is not recommended.

SITEguard ™ Protection

Click the down arrow and select Manage My Sites to configure your personal SITEguard™ Block list and Allow list. Please see: SITEguard™ Technology

Check for Updates

A green Update button indicates that your STOPzilla Phishing protection is up to date. A red button indicates that there are new Phishing definitions that you should download. Click the button to update your Phishing definitions. Please see: SITEguard Definition Updates.

Report a Site

Click this button to report an UNSAFE site determined to be an SAFE site or a SAFE site determined to be an UNSAFE site . Please see: Reporting Safe and Unsafe Sites.

Quick Tools

Click the down arrow and select Clear COOKIES or Clear HISTORY to erase your tracks.

Help

Click this button to view the comprehensive context-sensitive online Help system.

Register

Key displayed in toolbar indicates that STOPzilla is not registered. Click this icon to launch the registration process. Please see: Register STOPzilla.
