Scan in Progress
During a scan for Spyware, STOPzilla displays a constant stream of information about the processes taking place and the results of the scan. You can click on the Results tab within the illustration below to view the contents of that tab.

- The top group box shows that a scan is in progress and indicates the type of scan being performed.
- The left group box consists of two progress indicators and a running count of the number of elements scanned.
- The Scanning indicator shows the progress of the scan of a particular area of your computer.
- The Scan Progress indicator shows the progress of the entire scan.
- The PAUSE SCAN button halts the scanning process temporarily. When you click PAUSE SCAN, the command button changes to RESUME SCAN and enables you to continue the scan.
- The STOP SCAN button halts the scan. When you click this button, STOPzilla opens to the Results tab.
- The CANCEL button quits the scanning process. When you click this button, STOPzilla displays a warning indicating that stopping a scan before it completes will prevent the scan from completing.
- The right group box shows a summary of the specific infections found on your computer and indicates the severity of each.
