Run Time Enforcers
Run time enforcers detect and analyze any attempts to change settings made to processes, services and drivers that have been or are being loaded into your computer's system memory. The enforcers compare these changes with those that would be made by potentially malicious software and known malicious software.
If the program added is known to be safe, the enforcer will allow it. If it is a known or potentially malicious application, STOPzilla detects it, blocks it, quarantines it, and alerts you if the appropriate enforcer is enabled.
The following are the Run Time enforcers: Process, Service, and Driver. They are enabled by default. It is recommended that you leave the default settings.
You can click on the Summary, Settings, and Quarantine tabs or the Browser, Network, System, or Auto Start sub-tabs within the illustration below to view the contents of each tab or sub-tab.

Process
Detects and prevents malicious or unknown executables from running on your computer. If a known or potentially malicious application attempts to run, this enforcer prevents the process from starting and alerts you that an infection has been detected and blocked.
An executed process is a program or application that is currently running on your computer. To see a list of processes running on your computer, press Ctrl+Alt+Delete and select Task Manager.
Service
Detects and prevents malicious services from running on your computer. If a known or potentially malicious service attempts to install, this enforcer prevents the installation and alerts you that an infection has been detected and blocked.
A service is a background program that supports an application. For example, SZserver.exe is STOPzilla’s service. To see services installed on your computer, go to Start > right-click My Computer > Manage > Services & Applications > Services.
Driver
Detects and prevents known or potentially malicious drivers from running on your computer.
A driver interacts with a particular device or special software. The driver contains the special knowledge of the device or special software interface that programs using the driver do not have. Malicious drivers can severely affect the stability and security of your system.
Click Restore Default to revert the system to the original manufacturer's settings.
