Real-Time Protection
STOPzilla's True Real-Time⢠Protection detects, blocks and quarantines known and potential Malware (malicious software) before it can compromise your computer or the data stored within it.
The Real-Time Protection features enable you to take action once STOPzilla blocks a threat, quarantines it, determines its nature and assesses its severity. You may leave it in quarantine, allow it, or remove it, according to your preferences.
The trial version of STOPzilla detects, blocks, and safely quarantines infections, thus rendering them harmless, permanently. When the trial period expires, STOPzilla will continue to detect Spyware and other infections for as long as the software is installed. However it will no longer block and quarantine these threats. To remove infections, you must register your copy of STOPzilla. For more details, please see: Purchasing Options.
To view and manage Spyware infections:
From the navigation bar, select Real Time Protection. The Real Time Protection dialog is a tabbed interface. Tabs are Summary, Active Enforcers, Settings and Quarantine.
You can click on the Active Enforcers, Settings, and Quarantine tabs within the illustration below to view the contents of the tab.

View Infections
Click the View Infections command button to access a tabbed interface that displays a detailed description of all potential infections Detected and Removed by STOPzilla, and any specifically Allowed by the user. By default, the interface opens to the Detected tab. The Scanner tab enables you to begin a Quick Scan, Intelligent Scan, or Custom Scan of your system. For details on infections found during scanning, please see: Scan Results.
Real-Time Protection Status
Use the ON and OFF buttons to enable/disable Spyware protection. When enabled, you will receive a Spyware Alert in real time whenever a malicious application attempts to access your computer. By default, Spyware protection is set to On. It is strongly recommended that you do not change this setting.
Enforcer Status
This group box indicates whether any changes have been made to the default enforcer settings. With the default settings, each enforcer group is Fully Protected. If changes have been made, the system displays the word Custom. To change any of the enforcer settings, click Configure. To restore the defaults for an enforcer group, click Restore Defaults.
