Quarantine

Remove Cookies without saving an encrypted cookie

Enable this option to remove cookies directly without passing it into the quarantine. Deleting cookies is almost always safe. The only exceptions are the cookies created by trusted websites containing genuinely useful information that make browsing the sites easier or more fun. Examples of this include the personalized products lists displayed when you contact Amazon or stored user names and passwords so that you don't need to remember them to log on (although this feature is also a security risk if other users have access to your computer).

Automatically delete successfully restored quarantine items

If object are restored from the quarantine, they will be deleted automatically without saving them to the quarantine.

Log

Add actions on infected cookies to logs

Due to the great amount of cookies, it is recommended to disable this option in order to keep the logs clearly arranged

Maximum numbers of entries the logs should include

250 entries conform to standard, but you can alter this value if desired.

Reset Options

The options of Ashampoo AntiSpyWare 2 can be restored with this option.

Reset answers

Some functions of Ashampoo AntiSpyWare 2 show messages with further information during processing. Those messages can be disabled (e.g. if the message the is already known or repeated too often). To enable them again, use this option.
